Dome Parking Information

Where can I park for the Game?
The Alamodome has 2,810 parking spaces located on the Bowl grounds.
However, only one of the three alamodome lots will be open to
the public on gameday. Parking passes for Lot B will be $12
and can be purchased with your bowl tickets prior to team announcement.
After the teams have been announced, a limited number of parking
passes for the lot can be purchase on gameday, beginning at
7:00 a.m. Lots A and C are already sold out to tickets holders
who have already purchased passes.
What about the rest of us?
If you arrive at the Dome and the lots are already full, the
is still plenty of parking available. There are 12,000 parking
spaces located within a 1/2 mile walking distance of the dome,
and police officers will be present to direct traffic so pedestrians
can travel safely to the game. Private lots and public garage
parking will cost you anywhere from $8.00 to $15.00 dollars
a car, so come prepared with lots of cash. We recommend arriving
as early as possible, to avoid some of the more hostile competition
and prices, and to wander about the city and the riverwalk,
or enjoy the pregame festivities, such as the Alamo
Bowl Fan Zone which is located at the Sunset Station
Entertainment area, just a football field away from the Dome's
north end.
Is there Handicapped Parking available?
Handicapped parking is available in Lot A of the Alamodome free
of charge, and is given out on a first come, first served basis.
You can guarantee yourself a parking space, however, by purchasing
a handicapped parking pass when you purchase your tickets. Bowl
staff will cone off a space for each pass purchased.
What if I want to bring my RV?
There will not be any RV parking for the Bowl on the Alamodome
grounds. Any vehicle that is larger than a 15 passenger van
must also purchase a Bus Parking Pass, which will cost you $50.
Check local yellow pages for RV parking in San Antonio.
What if I don't want to deal with Parking
at the Dome?
There is an alternative to dealing with the crowds and trying
to find a parking space down by the Dome. There is a park and
ride service offered by VIA, the city's public transportation
system, that will allow you to park your car at one of several
locations throughout the city and catch a bus to the game that
will drop you off at the front door of the Alamodome.
